About the Director

Nordia Hunt is an independent filmmaker and attorney. Born and raised in Jamaica, she discovered storytelling through family talent shows and local plays. As a Rutgers University graduate (BA, JD), she specializes in media, advertising and entertainment law. Nordia’s producing work has received support from Firelight Media and ITVS. The short, “Wi Cyah Stay,” which she also wrote and produced, is her debut as a director.
